In anticipation of a campaign to restore and renovate the Westside School into a community campus, The Bean Foundation, Jefferson County Historical Society and Jefferson County Library District are partnering to capture 80 years of memories and memorabilia related to Madras Union High School, Madras Junior High, Westside Elementary and current programs housed there.
We’re asking former students, teachers, coaches and staff to share their emories in the forms of stories and oral histories. Memorabilia and photos are also being accepted.
Please submit your Westside Stories with respect, courtesy and sensitivity in mind.
You can contribute your memories of Westside School in three ways:
- Complete the online form on this page. Please Note: your Westside Story will go through a review process before posting to the Stories page on this website.
- Download a Paper Story Form with this link or visit the Jefferson County Library and request a paper form. Paper forms should be returned to the library.
- Schedule a Tell Us Your Westside Story Oral History appointment at the Jefferson County Library by calling 541-350-3106.
Memorabilia may be donated at the Jefferson County Library during public hours. A release form must accompany each item donated.
